School and College Friends

There are not always reasons to everything that we do or everything that happens to us

Life does not give reasons to smile but we need to smile always.

There are instances where people who are close to us just move away and then we have new set of people to interact with. There are some people , some friends of mine who I always felt had everthing they needed in life. I always used to feel that my life is way below standard as "compared" to theirs and so I chose to move away them. Was it because I was jealous of them? Well not exactly! My reason for moving away was for identifying who my true friend was. People who know come back to you when you are sad , who help you in times when u need them (without having you to specify that you need them), who do things for you so that you feel happy always are the ones as per my definition qualified to being called as "True Friends"

In school we make many friends ... I made many as well...And in those days we did not carry mobile phones or have email ids ... So after school I lost touch of few of my best friends ... And till date I get dreams where I find them, I feel the pleasure of meeting them.

When I moved to Enginnering, I made very good friends and am proud to say that I still have them as my best friends. Namita/Sheepra/Jyothi/Anusha/Preeti ...we were a gang of 6 girls and very famously know as the "4-feet" group. Most of my friends are married now and others in different states. But what keeps me bonded to them is the experience that we shared togther. The tough times we saw through. And never did we have any "reasons" for insulting anyone. Such friends are rare to find. Thus once found , one should always do whatever they can to be-friends. Today while I am away from my country, my friends, my family ... I miss all of them !!

Life will not always give you gifts to unpack, but will give you gifts in parts ...the way we assemble them makes the game of life interesting and a wonderful experience.
